Monsters Chase Players More Reliably

Monsters now follow players persistently across longer distances, making mob-training and AoE farming work as expected.

What Changed

  • Monsters no longer abandon the chase mid-walk when the player moves beyond a threshold while the monster is still pathing.
  • Maximum chase distance raised to 50 cells (was 30, sometimes as low as 12).
  • Monsters are now exempt from the 14-cell path-length rule (originally a player auto-pathing limit) — they continue chasing around corners and obstacles.

What Stays the Same

  • Monsters still return home once they lose their target.
  • No monster was made faster or given more HP.
  • All combat mechanics unchanged — only chase persistence was adjusted.
